Pick your monthly salary in AED

A card is open to you when the minimum salary its bank publishes is at or below yours. Up to 4 cards per salary, one per bank, highest standard rate first.

AED 3,000 a month

No card in Perkly’s catalogue publishes a minimum salary at or below AED 3,000 a month; the lowest is AED 5,000. Some banks offer a card secured against a fixed deposit, where the deposit rather than your salary sets the limit, so it is worth asking your own bank.

How this list is made. The order comes from Perkly’s own data and nothing else. No bank pays to appear here, and no placement on this page can be bought. If you apply through Perkly and a bank issues your card, Perkly may earn a referral fee, which never changes the order or the figures you see.

      Not counted

5 cards whose bank publishes no minimum salary

Perkly records the usual AED 5,000 floor for these internally, but that is not the bank’s figure, so they are not counted at any salary above. Expect the bank to ask for more.

      Questions people ask

What is the minimum salary for a credit card in the UAE?

AED 5,000 a month is the lowest minimum salary published for any card Perkly compares, and 79 of the 209 cards ask for exactly that. Premium cards ask for much more: 37 need over AED 20,000 a month.

Can I get a credit card with a salary of AED 3,000?

Not from the cards Perkly compares: none publishes a minimum below AED 5,000 a month. Some banks offer a card secured against a fixed deposit, where the deposit rather than your salary sets the limit, so it is worth asking your own bank.

Do I need to transfer my salary to get a credit card?

Not always. Some banks set a lower minimum salary if your salary is paid into an account with them, and ask for more without one. Perkly's card data does not yet record which cards need a salary transfer, so this page uses each card's published minimum. The bank's own page says which applies to you.

Does meeting the minimum salary mean I will be approved?

No. The minimum salary only decides whether you can apply. The bank also looks at your credit history with the Al Etihad Credit Bureau, how much of your salary already goes on loan and card repayments, and your employer. Perkly does not decide applications.
