Best Etihad Guest credit cards in the UAE: September 2026

Five Etihad Guest cards from three banks, ordered by the interest Perkly users showed in September, with what each earns and costs.

By the Perkly research team · Published · Covers September 2026 · Card details checked 4 October 2026

Based on Perkly data for September 2026: more than 300 card searches, and the card pages, Apply clicks and applications that followed, on perkly.ae between 1 and 30 September 2026. Card fees, rates and offers on this page update live from Perkly’s card database.

Etihad Guest cards were again a quiet corner of Perkly in September. Travel searches chose Emirates Skywards about four times as often as Etihad Guest, and no Etihad card received an application, or even a started application, through Perkly. So this list is ordered by Apply clicks and card page visits added up, with a click counting three times a visit, and the cards are separated by a click or a visit or two. Treat it as a guide to what people looked at, not a verdict.

The 5 cards come from three issuers, Emirates NBD, ADIB and Emirates Islamic, and they differ most on fees, tier fast tracks and how many Miles you earn on everyday spending. First Abu Dhabi Bank's Etihad Guest Platinum Islamic card drew as many page visits as the last two cards here and missed the list only on a tie-break.

What September's data shows

The order changed a lot from August, as it can when no card is applied for and a click or two decides the places. Emirates NBD's Elevate rose from third to first, and ADIB's Etihad Guest Visa Gold, not on August's list, joined it with an Apply click. Emirates Islamic's Premium, second in August, had the most visited Etihad card page but no Apply click. ADIB's Etihad Guest Visa Infinite, August's most visited card page on the whole of Perkly, drew far fewer visits and is fourth. Emirates Islamic's Ameera card, fourth in August, drops out.

None of this says much about which card is best. It says Etihad flyers are a small group on Perkly, and a single application next month could reorder the whole list.

Which Etihad card earns most for you

At Perkly's value of an Etihad Guest Mile (AED 0.1175), here is roughly what each card returns on general spending, before the much lower rates on groceries, fuel and bills:

  • At home: ADIB's Infinite about 7.3%, Emirates NBD's Elevate about 7%, ADIB's Platinum about 6.5%, Emirates Islamic's Premium about 6.4%, ADIB's Gold about 2.9%.
  • Abroad, outside Europe: ADIB's Infinite about 10.3%, Emirates Islamic's Premium about 9.6%, ADIB's Platinum about 8.8%, Emirates NBD's Elevate about 7%, ADIB's Gold about 4.4%.
  • In Europe (the EU and UK, or the wider European Economic Area, depending on the bank): Emirates Islamic's Premium about 6.4%, ADIB's Infinite and Platinum and Emirates NBD's Elevate about 3.5%, ADIB's Gold about 1.8%.
  • Hotels and dining: Emirates NBD's Elevate about 11.75%, which no other card here matches.

Then set that against the fee. ADIB's Gold costs AED 1,050 and its Infinite AED 3,150. Emirates Islamic's Premium is AED 2,625, or AED 1,575 on the lower-fee option. Emirates NBD's Elevate costs AED 2,625 in its first year, its joining fee, then AED 1,575 a year from the second year, although its welcome offer gives 40,000 Miles for paying the joining fee. These values use Perkly's estimate of what a Mile is worth, which assumes you redeem your Miles well, typically for Etihad flights.

Skywards or Etihad Guest?

Pick the programme you will actually fly. Both airlines are well served by UAE cards, and the Miles are only valuable if you redeem them. If you are based in Abu Dhabi and fly Etihad, an Etihad card's airport transfers and tier fast track are designed for you. If you fly Emirates or flydubai more, see our Emirates Skywards list, and for cards that pay on any airline, our travel list.

To rank every Etihad card on your own spending, after fees and caps, use the Perkly wizard: it flags rates that apply only to Etihad or a single merchant, so you can see what the rest of your spending earns.

How we built this list

This list is built from what people did on Perkly between 1 and 30 September 2026, not from what banks advertise and not from payments: no bank can pay to appear here or to move up. We count four things per card, and each visit counts once, at the furthest point it reached: an application submitted through Perkly, an application started, a click on Apply now, and a visit to the card's page. Each is weighted by how far it went: an application counts 10, a started application 5, a click on Apply now 3 and a page visit 1, and the list is ordered by the total. So a card many people explored closely can sit above one with a single application, and the signal shown beside each card is its strongest one, not the whole picture.

The data covers more than 300 card searches in September. Our own testing is excluded, and visitors who opted out of analytics are not counted. About one day of activity, 25 September, was lost in a technical incident and is not included. At this scale a single application can move a card several places, so read the order as "what people gravitated to", not as a precise league table. We publish ranks rather than raw counts for the same reason.

Card details in the text were checked on 4 October 2026 against Perkly's card data, which was reviewed bank by bank against each bank's own documents between 26 and 27 September 2026. The fees, earn rates and welcome offers shown in each card panel are live from Perkly's card database, so they stay current after this article was written. Always confirm the final terms with the bank before you apply.

Frequently asked questions

Which is the best Etihad Guest credit card in the UAE?

In September 2026 Emirates NBD's Etihad Guest Visa Elevate drew the most interest among Etihad cards on Perkly, and Emirates Islamic's Etihad Guest Premium had the most visited Etihad card page. No Etihad card was applied for through Perkly in September, so the right card depends on how often you fly Etihad, how much you spend, where you spend it and how much you are willing to pay in fees.

Which banks issue Etihad Guest credit cards in the UAE?

ADIB, Emirates Islamic, Emirates NBD and First Abu Dhabi Bank all issue Etihad Guest co-brand cards. Perkly compares all of them.

Which Etihad Guest cards have a welcome bonus right now?

At the time of writing (4 October 2026), ADIB's campaign for applications until 31 December 2026 gives up to 100,000 Miles on its Gold, 150,000 on its Platinum and 225,000 on its Infinite. Half of the Miles on the Gold and Platinum, and more than half on the Infinite, need a spending target soon after you get the card: AED 15,000, AED 40,000 and AED 60,000 respectively. Emirates Islamic's Premium gives up to 200,000 Miles on its lower-fee option for applications before 31 October 2026, and Emirates NBD's Elevate up to 200,000, 40,000 of them for paying the joining fee and the rest for AED 90,000 and AED 120,000 of spending within 6 months. Each card's panel shows its current offer.

How often is this list updated?

Every month. Each edition of the Perkly Card Index covers one calendar month of activity on Perkly and is published early the following month. Card details on every page update automatically from Perkly's card database.

Is one of these your best card?

Popular is not the same as right for you. Tell Perkly your salary and how you spend and it ranks every card in the UAE for you, or talk your options through with Perkly Chat.
