This Cookie Policy explains how Perkly ("Perkly", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the website at perkly.ae and our related tools (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

Strictly necessary cookies are always on, as the Service cannot work without them. Non-essential analytics are on by default to help us improve the Service: Google Analytics, our own anonymous usage measurement (which pages are visited and where errors occur, using a short-lived session identifier and no personal data), and storing the details you enter when you use the card-matching tool. You can switch all of this off at any time on our Cookie preferences page (see Section 6). We do not use a pop-up cookie banner.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device, remember your actions and preferences during a session, and collect information about how the Service is used. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags, local storage, and analytics identifiers, all referred to here as "cookies".

2. Why We Use Cookies

We use cookies to:

  • Operate the Service and keep it working correctly;
  • Remember the information and preferences you enter during a session so the matching tool can function;
  • Measure and analyse how the Service is used, so we can improve it;
  • Monitor activity across the Service to maintain security and detect and prevent abuse; and

3. Types of Cookies We Use

3.1. Strictly necessary cookies

These are essential for the Service to function, for example, to load pages, maintain your session, and keep your inputs available while you complete the matching flow. The Service cannot work properly without them. This category also includes a first-party identifier used to apply fair-usage limits on the number of free searches and to detect and prevent abuse of the Service. Because this is necessary to keep the Service available and secure, it operates regardless of your analytics choice and does not depend on your consent.

3.2. Performance and analytics cookies

These help us understand how visitors interact with the Service: which pages are viewed, which features are used, how long visits last, and where errors occur. We use this information, including through third-party analytics providers, to measure and improve the Service.

3.3. Functionality cookies

These allow the Service to remember choices you make and provide enhanced, more personal features during your visit.

3.4. Activity and session tracking

We keep a record of activity on the Service, including pages visited, actions taken, and the high-level information you enter (such as income range, spending patterns, and product preferences). We do not control these third-party cookies, and their use is governed by the relevant third party's own privacy and cookie policies.

Cookies may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, links clicked, session duration, referring site, and approximate location. We treat this information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Managing and Withdrawing Consent

6.1. We do not use a pop-up cookie banner. Strictly necessary cookies are always on. Non-essential analytics are on by default. You can change your choice at any time, turning analytics on or off, on our Cookie preferences page at perkly.ae/cookie-preferences. If you opt out, we do not load analytics cookies, do not store the details of your searches, and stop the anonymous first-party measurement described above.

6.2. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and notify you when a cookie is set. Please note that if you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Service may not function correctly.

6.3. To opt out of certain third-party analytics cookies, you may also use the tools provided by those third parties.

7. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when the latest version took effect. Changes are effective when posted.
